Do you eat meat?¿

I don’t eat meat; I’m vegetarian since I was
11years old. <
> ask me the people. Well, it’s very simple, we defend the life of a fetus but take away the life of animals which has feelings, suffers, and feels pain like us because it has a central system similar to ours.
One of the phrases Mahatma Gandhi said and I’m agree with is that: “A country, a civilization, can be judged by the way it treats its animals”. Why not look into the eyes of the animal and work out that they are saying. Because if you look into their eyes you will understand what they are saying and you will feel ashamed.

Julie Stephenson

Julie set up her business Fish & Chips nearly three years ago. After working in Liverpool where she ran a successful bar. She loves traveling and reading and since coming to Barcelona she has found a talent for dealing with Catalan authorities.
Barcelona's Raval
Julie Stephenson has been here with her daughter for over eight years now.
She set up in El Raval because while she was looking for a local where sha can open Fish&Chips she realised hat many city centre areas were out of her price range. She try Raval because is very close to the Rambla and also because has recived a lot of investment over the last few years, and the most important, because It felt good start in an area that was 'up and coming'.
El Raval has a wonderfull community spirit and the locals have, on the whole, been very welcoming. Its diverse community makes it challenging as they (she and her daughter) want their restaurant to be available to all people in Barcelona, and not only expats and tourists.
They had worked hard with their neighbours to make it a more welcoming!!!

Alfred Lothar Wegener (1880 –1930) was a German scientist, geophysicist, and meteorologist, who developed the “theory of continental drift”. This theory says that 200millions years ago there was only one continent called PANGEA, and one big ocean called PANTHALASA. When he explained it to the people nobody believed him and everybody laughed at him.

The years passed and people realized that he was right.
