Fairytale...

Once upon a time there was a boy called Pol.

One morning he woke up like every day, and suddenly, he feel a pain in his body. He began to cough and something comes out from his mouth and he takes it, it was his life.

Then he decides to bandage his right hand in order not to lose her life. Later he went to visit everyone who knows him and explains them what happened to him.

First, he went to visit his manager and told him he could only work with one hand and the manager take it like a normal thing. Secondly, he went to see his girlfriend and told her what had happened, and she said to him that she’ll sew a prettier bandage for him. Later he went to see his aunt who takes away the bandage from his hand.

Finally he arrived in a place where there was a circus and there he saw a blonde trapeze artist, who waved him, and he returned the waved with the right hand, and that’s how he loose his life.

Fairytale…

Once upon a time a man went to India, a place that he did not know the customs.

One day he saw a girl and fell in love. Then one day he decided to bring her a bunch of flowers, but there was a cow that eats them, and the frightened pushed the cow. A guard saw him and said him that there the cows are sacred and could not be touched.

The next day, the man bought two bouquets, one ugly to give it to eat to the cow and a nice one inside a box for the girl. When he saw the cow he gave him the ugly bunch. And when he saw the guard told him that he had cheated the cow, and then the guard arrested him.

Dear Sara,

Oh, how I missed being with you during the holidays this year! Everything in London is so different from Spain, that I don’t know if I will ever get udet to living here. I’m so grad that my father’s job at the Spanish Embassy will only last until June. Then we will come home, and you and I can spend the summer on the beach. (Well, I hope you’ll spend your holiday in Spain as usual).

I’ve already make some very nice friends, but don’t worry, no one could ever replace you as my best friend! After work, I sometimes go to my friend Fiona’s house. She enjoys listening to the same music and watching the same clips that like to you and me.

Life is very different here. Would you believe that we have to wear an uniform to go to school? Well that’s not the surprise thing, the uniform is awful. Moreover, there is nothing to do in the evening. All the shops close at 4:30 p.m. and pubs are only open till 11p.m.

That is all for now. I must start work for the shop. My boss wants us to write new ideas for how would be the new uniform.

Please write soon and tell me all the news. I miss you!

Love,

Sonia

Your-say

Tuesday, 22, January

At last, after so many days nervous, today we have been given the marks of the research project. I got a six. I'm very happy. Although, I would have had a better mark if I had worked more in summer, but now this has been done.

In the afternoon I went with a friend to visit her grandparents in l'Escala because it was his grandfather's birthday who did eighty-five years.
After that we were invited to have dinner and later we played dominoes. And his grandma, Monsserrat, won.

your-say

Dear Mr. Darcy,

As you well Know I believed all what Mr. Wicham told me, and now I’m so embarrassed.

When he told all this things to me, maybe, I believed him because in first sigh, you seem, and you are so proud, as I could see in the first party I saw you, when you said that I’m not attractive enough to tempt you.

Well, I would feel better if you forgive me for all the things I told you, please, because I know that I’ve been so prejudiced with you.

I hope you to forgive me,

 Elizabeth Bennet

No time to spare…

It’s true that we always are one step behind from where we should be at any time.
And what we do in front of that?

We always blame our work, the kids, want finalize everything in 24 ours, etc.

Although, I’ve read that the experts say that not being able to organize ourselves is our fault. And which is the solution? According to them we need learn by prioritise, I mean that we only have to do the really necessary things. “It’s OK to leave things scattered around at home or not have beautiful flowers blooming in every corner”.

In my view, if we organize ourselves, we will be able to sleep for eight hours, read one book in a week, go on the gym more times a week, polish our English, and of course, earn living.

In conclusion, what we should do is turn our backs on things which fancy us doing and don’t worry if we won’t have time to do it all.

Vocabulary:
-scattered: dispers.
-spare: estalviar.
